Bump Boxes are changing all the time based on Christine’s newest product and brand finds, so you know you’re always getting to try out the latest brands. However, once your cancellation fee was paid, you should not have seen any more attempts on your card, and we would like to get to the bottom of this, and make sure nothing was missed. We do offer our month to month subscription, which is not tied to any specific length, and does not include the many discounts, but can be cancelled at any time with no fee. This is stated on the front page of our website, and is standard with most committed subscription companies. We completely understand that sometimes you need to end that commitment, so we have the $25 fee to get your account fully cancelled. With that commitment, we were able to extend an offer for a significant discount on the first box, VIP treatment in our store, and additional discounts on each subscription box purchased. (We are parents too, and know your time is precious!) When you started your 6, 9, or 12 month subscription, we thought we would get to serve you for the entire commitment you chose. We just hate having you wait in long phone queues, so we do encourage you to email or chat, so we can get you taken care of much faster, in respect for your time. ![]() We understand that some customers would prefer to be in contact via phone, and we are working to add to our team, to ensure that avenue of communication is opened very soon. Most of our emails do have an automatic responder that asks for more information, so that our agents are able to get you fully taken care of in fewer emails, so we do ask that you respond to those, to ensure you get connected with an agent. We do respond to all emails and chats as quickly as possible, once they are sent to an agent. They most assuredly screwed themselves out of any more business from me. Most companies don't feel the need to hide that information in an apparent attempt to screw you out of more money. If a business wants to screw you, all they have to do is write a disclaimer in the terms and conditions, and most of us will rely on the honesty of the company to be up front about their product and whether it auto renews. I requested that they reconsider and never received an answer. ![]() I cancelled and then requested a refund, but, like so many others, was informed that the fact the subscription auto renews was in the terms and conditions. Furthermore, I had to google how to cancel because their site was very non-use-friendly on that issue. I only realized what was happening because I googled why I was still being charged and saw so many other people who had the same experience. I ordered the six month subscription for my best friend bump boxes failed to mention that this subscription would auto renew at the end of the six months. However, I am thoroughly disappointed in their business practice. I'm giving Bump Boxes 2 stars rather than 1 star because my friend did enjoy the boxes. If I was aware of the subscription cancellation price I wouldn't have had to reach out to someone in the first place. Again, the products themselves are great, but the service is pretty terrible. Not only did they wait till the very last minute to respond, but they also offered for me to spend more money I don't have. When I finally got a response, I was notified that my subscription had actually come to an end and was offered to purchase a second subscription. For months they did not respond to my emails, and on the phone an automated voice would say something vague then hang up on me. I tried to contact them over phone, email and even the online chat on their website. However, in my case specifically, I tried to cancel my six month subscription on multiple occasions due to the fact that it felt a little too pricey to keep up with month after month. Honestly? The products that come in the Bump Boxes are phenomenal and I have no issues with the products themselves. ![]()
